Mercedes-Benz, Rolls Royce and Maserati Clubs cars and coffee, Feb 2025

Today the Mercedes-Benz, Rolls Royce and Maserati clubs had a joint cars and coffee event.   It was held in the parking lot of St George Sailing club which turned out to be a good venue.   There was enough room for all three clubs to park their cars together.

I think these events are a good idea, as it brings a combination of cars together that are not often seen.   They are quite easy to organize, and its easy for me to go to an early morning car event on a Sunday and be home by 10:30AM.

There was a decent turn out overall, probably around 40-50 cars.   The Mercedes-Benz club was the biggest with about 20-25 cars. The Rolls Royce and Maserati clubs had about 20-25 together.

Having attended a Maserati exhibit at Autoworld Brussels recently, it was good to see some of the same Maserati’s on the road.   This included models such as the Ghibli and Khamsin.  On the Rolls Royce side there were mostly Silver Shadow and Silver Spirit (and their derivatives) models on display.

I took my 250SE Cabriolet.  It’s rather dirty from being caught in the rain in January.  I’ve still not had a chance to clean it, but the silver paint does a pretty good job of hiding the dirt.  There were a decent number of older models.  This included a W109 6.3, a W108 250SE, an Adenauer, a C114 and others.   The 6.3 had a beautifully patinaed interior and was quite original.
